This is a one day investment and trade conference will run alongside the 2nd Ugandan Convention UK. The conference will be promoting Uganda as a preferred investment destination in Africa. MTN Western Union

MTN Mobile money Western Union International Transferis a mobile money functionality that allows Mobile money subscribers in Uganda to send and receive money to and from countries where Western union operates using their mobile phone. They have the option to upload the money into their Mobile Money account or withdraw it at an authorised Mobile Money agent.

To activate the function on your MTN Mobile phone:

1. You must be a registered MTN mobile money user. In case you are not yet registered, please visit any of our MTN service centers to get registered.
2. If you are a registered user, simply type the code *185# to activate the Western union transaction menu on your mobile money account.
3. Upon having this Western Union menu activated on your phone, simply follow the prompts in order to send or retrieve money sent onto your account using the Western Union service.

• The winner’s phones will be delivered to the nearest MTN outlet within 1 week from being called up. If this changes due to unforeseen circumstances, MTN reserves the right to change this period. However the winner will be informed of this.
• SMS will be sent out to the customer informing him to pick his phone from that outlet.
• Winners will be required to pick up the phone from the MTN outlet recommended within a period of 1 week from receiving the SMS message.
