We welcome Housing Finance Bank as our sponsor of the 2018 UK Uganda Convention

A team from Housing Finance Bank Uganda will be attending the Uganda Convention on the 16th Sept in London UK to present to Ugandans, investors and friends of Uganda opportunities and a chance to work abroad, save and invest back home!

 

There will be a chance to join for Ugandans who wish to; invest back home, buy a house, transfer funds to relatives or save for their children’s education.

 

Ugandans can transfer funds worldwide from host country straight to their bank account using a variety of wire systems like; Western Union, Money gram, Telegraphic Transfers (Us) and HFB Mobile.

 

Housing Finance Bank will help applicants to apply for Home Mortgage Loan of up to 80% of the purchase amount, apply for Land Purchase loan, Residential Multi Units Purchase/ Construction and a Growing House loan and Kyaapa loan.

 

  • For only $50, Ugandans will be able to open a USD Classic Savings account and enjoy inexpensive banking services including access to free online statements.

 

  • Apply for a purchase or construction mortgage for residential or commercial property and enjoy preferential rates.

 

  • Through Housing Finance Bank investments and custodial services; operate a fixed deposit account, apply for a CDS account, invest in treasury bills & bonds and benefit from free investment advisory services.

 

The Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development will chair a special panel to discuss among other investments, policies and any other issues pertaining to land. Some of the panellists on the panel chaired by the minister of lands include Oliver Lalani – ED Roofing, Lord Sheikh – House of Lords, Geoffrey Ssemaganda, moderated by Edwin Musiime, host of Property Show on NTV.

 

Housing Finance’s development Internationally acclaimed property developers, FAKHRUDDIN PROPERTIES will also be participating for the first time in the 2018 UK UGANDA TRADE & INVESTMENT CONVENTION through their group company in Uganda, FAKHRUDDIN PROPERTIES UGANDA LTD.

 

The Founder and Chairman of the UGANDA UK CONVENTION (UCUK), Mr. Willy Mutenza, expressed his satisfaction at having a real estate development company of the caliber of FAKHRUDDIN PROPERTIES join this prestigious event.

 

 

Mr. Mutenza further commented that there was a huge deficit of housing in Uganda and FAKHRUDDIN PROPERTIES is pioneering the drive to provide premium quality, modern homes at truly affordable prices.

The Ugandan law now recognizes the ownership of condominium and owners can acquire land titles just like in developed countries.

 

The annual convention, organized by the Ugandan diaspora in the United Kingdom, is set for September 15 in East London. Willy Mutenza, the main architect of the event, says more than 1,000 delegates including government officials, private sector leaders and entrepreneurs will attend.

 

According to Mutenza, the meeting will provide a unique platform for Ugandan entrepreneurs and international business community experts to discuss ventures, investment opportunities and ways to achieve sustainable economic development.
