The Uganda Development Forum (UDF) is an alliance of State and Non-State Actors who are working together to sustainably contribute to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation. UDF provides a unique collaborative environment and synergies in which members and partners connect, share insights, gain fresh perspectives on socio-economic transformation, and collaborate on initiatives that create development impact in Uganda.
A not-for-profit membership organisation, operating as a “Think-and Do-Tank”, UDF supports the creation and enhancement of the necessary systems, policies, programmes, budgets, initiatives, partnerships and institutional conditions for facilitating sustainable inclusive growth in Uganda.
UDF is the ideal partner for the UCUK in order for attendees to benefit most for the many investment and business opportunities that will be showcased on the day.
The Uganda-UK Convention – UK now in its 12th year, is schedule on Saturday 10 Sept 2022 at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, 18 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TJ.
UCUK promotes trade and investment between Uganda and the United Kingdom. UCUK gathers prominent industry leaders, investors and ministers from the UK and East Africa to forge new business deals, invest in bankable projects and reinforce economic relationships between the UK and Uganda, including the East African Community.
The President of Uganda, H.E. Y. Museveni will be our guest of honour and key note speaker. He will be joined by Rt. Hon. Anne-Marie Trevelyan – Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade, Lord Popat – UK Prime Minister’s envoy to Uganda, DRC and Rwanda and many other ministers and prominent industry leaders.
