The Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, Bishop of Namirembe message at the 2nd UK Convention

Though the Convention is a business and investment forum, we were delighted to be able to invite The Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, Bishop of Namirembe, to come and grace the convention with spiritual blessings.

The Bishop said the following prayer:  “Almighty God our Father, we are here before you and we thank you for the gift of life and the gift of this day. Lord God, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as brothers and sisters. We thank you for you ever loving presence with us; we thank you for being our sole provider and protector and we thank you for this Ugandan UK Convention event. We believe that we shall go through the activities of this day, which will be a time for meeting friends, but also an opportunity to get new friendships, a time of great encouragement in whatever we do as we promote sustainable prosperity for Ugandans in the Diaspora.

Lord God, we thank you for our speakers. We know that you have prepared each one of them to share with us what would lead us through as we reflect on this important theme. We thank you and we bless you. We commit unto your hands whatever we are going through because we need your guidance, for without you, we can do nothing. So, heavenly Father, as you have brought us together, let us have a wonderful time together to learn from each other  and encourage one another, support one another and at the end of it all, we would say that this is the the Lord’s Dream. All this we pray in your name.”
