Mr. Latimer Kagimu Mukasa has a Banking Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. He was the founder of Rock Insurance Services in 2000, an insurance brokerage firm, subsequently acquired by Marsh Uganda, of which he became Managing Director. He joined MUA Insurance Uganda Limited which is part of the Mauritius Union Assurance Group in 2017 and is Currently Managing Director. He has served as a Board Member of the Financial Literacy Foundation, a Member of the Financial Literacy Advisory Group under the Bank of Uganda and GIZ and was the founding Vice Chairman of the Forum of South African Businesses in Uganda (FOSABU). He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Uganda Insurers Association, Chairman Board of Directors CreditInfo Credit Reference Bureau Uganda Limited and a Board Member of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda(PSFU) representing the Financial Sector (Banking and Insurance).
