
Humphrey Nzeyi

Humphrey Nzeyi has more than twenty years of experience running some of Uganda and East Africa’s leading businesses. He is currently the Managing Director of Invicta Africa Limited, a company he founded in 2015. Invicta provides ongoing technological and logistical support to the Ugandan Directorate of Citizenship. In recent years, it has overseen the establishment of several regional passport processing sites around Uganda. In addition, Invicta has ongoing contracts with several major commercial banks, supplying and maintaining cash processing equipment. Humphrey is also a director and founder of Lionsgate Logistics Limited, a company that supplies flags and medals to Military and Police forces throughout East Africa. Humphrey previously worked in the food and hospitality industry. As Managing Director of Innscor Uganda Ltd, he helped turn its flagship restaurant – Mateos into one of Kampala’s most popular eateries, while growing several other retail food brands. These included Nandos, which Innscor introduced to the Ugandan market in 1999. Innscor was bought out by regional powerhouse, Café Javas in 2015. Humphrey continues to sit on the board of Hotloaf Bakery Limited, Uganda’s largest wholesale bakery. In partnership with Brood Netherlands, Hotloaf has set up several Brood branded bakeries in Kampala over recent years. Brood now boasts five outlets in the Ugandan capital, its success here having helped it springboard into neighboring markets of Kenya and Rwanda. Humphrey is also a director of Whitehorse Inn and sits on the boards of the Ugandan Manufacturers Association, the Private Sector Foundation Uganda, and Pembroke House Kenya. Pembroke, founded in 1927, is one of East Africa’s leading preparatory schools.
