The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA): Established as a semi-autonomous institution by an Act of Parliament in 1991, the agency is responsible for Assessing, collecting and accounting for all revenue to which those laws apply; to advise the Minister on revenue implications, tax administration and aspects of policy changes relating to all taxes.
