The law permitting Dual Nationality in Uganda is now fully operational and came into force in 2009; following amendments to Article 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda vide constitutional amendment 11 of 2005.
The law giving effect to Article 15 of the Constitution is the uganda Citizenship and immigration Control Amendment Act 2009.
