The UK – Uganda Trade Summit is an annual event that creates awareness, support, promote and encourage trade and investment from the private sector between Uganda (East Africa) and the United Kingdom. It also aims to create a platform to facilitate and access trade opportunities for the private and the public sectors in Uganda and UK. UCUK also promotes Ugandan exports and identify export opportunities, so that the export earnings close the gap with the import demand and facilitates the transformation of Uganda from a current consuming nation into a producing nation.
The UK-Uganda Trade Summit is the largest annual trade and investment convention to an African market in the UK and grown tremendously over the last 12 years.

This year, the Trade Summit will take place from 8th September in London, UK with key objectives to:
- Provide a platform as a buyer-seller trade summit to enhance offtake from the Ugandan agricultural industry to markets in the UK, Europe and the Commonwealth.
- Link Ugandan opportunities to innovative green, sustainable and climate financing vehicles.
- Market opportunities for investment in key Ugandan priority sectors including agriculture (Agro-processing), infrastructure, oil and gas, ICT, tourism, service, health, mineral and manufacturing.
